16K & 51 Bridges


The CMP Venice Night Trail will take place in the city center of Venice through its calli (the typical street), 16K up and down 51 bridges between the mystery and charm of Venice by night.


The event is open to all athletes being at least 16. The race is open to everybody, included fans of fitwalking and nordic walking.
Each athlete is free to complete the course going at the pace which suits him better, accordingly to his physical preparation.
With the registration each participant declares to be in a healthy condition to take part in the race. With this form the athlete exonerates the organization from any liability, civil or penal, in case of accident during his/her participation in the race.

Entry can be made using the online registration, in this case the payment will be made at the moment of registration by credit card.

Bib pick-up
The Race Kit consists of a race number (bib) with a timing device and a race pack. The bib number can be picked up at the Venice Running Village in San Basilio Terminal in Venice on Saturday 4th from 3 to 7pm.

Race numbers are assigned progressively.
Pre-Race Transportation

A free shuttle service, reserved to participants ONLY, will take you from San Giuliano Park to Venezia San Basilio from 2:45pm.
Important notice: the last shuttle is at 7pm!!
In San Giuliano Park you could park your car in the parking areas: Porta Gialla (Yellow entrance), Porta Blu (Blue entrance) or Porta Rossa (Red entrance).
If you prefer to go to Venice by car, Interparking Italia is partner of the event and it offers you a discounted fare at the Venice Tronchetto Parking. The car park is located just two motorboat stops away from the start point area (line 2, San Basilio boat stop, click here to check the timetable).

Bags for personal belongins
A storage service will be available at the starting point as well as at the finish of the course. The organization guarantees a very careful service management. However, declines any responsibility in case of loss or damage of any property contained in the race packs. The organization discourages any athletes to leave any valuable object inside its own race pack.
Material required
For safety reasons it is mandatory to participate wearing a headlamp.
Starting Area
In this area you will find toilets, changing rooms and a storage service
Timing Data Service (TDS) is in charge of the timing of the competition.
The timing device (chip) will be attached to the back of your race number and it will record the net time that each athlete will require to complete the course. Detection points will be set along the course.
Timings and ranking tables will be available at any time during the competition on the website www.venicenighttrail.it.
The transponder is disposable so you DO NOT HAVE to give it back after the race.
Along the route
Along the race course several public fountains will be available to athletes for refreshing.
The course despite being marked and controlled by numerous volunteers, will not be closed, so, please, in your competition pay particular attention to the signs and be careful in not to overwhelm tourists and passersby. Remember that Venice is heritage of all, so do not throw trash on the ground.
In Sant’Elena area, at about half of the race course, there will be a refreshment station with San Benedetto water. After the finish line there will be a rich final refreshment with water, Palmisano biscuits, Zuegg and Bertoncello products, energetic drinks by Pro Action and Bavaria beer.
Maximum Times
You can complete the course at most in 3 hours.
Finish Area
The finish line is in Venice – San Basilio.
In this area you will find a storage service, changing rooms with toilets and a refreshment station.

You could use the showers of the Sports center CUS Venezia, not far from the finish line.

Medical assistance
The organization provides an adequate medical service thanks to the collaboration of local sanitary services.
Post-Race Transportation
After the race you can use the shuttle service which takes you back to San Giuliano Park in Mestre.
Buses will leave from San Basilio Terminal after the race. Last shuttle will depart at 00.30am.
