Venice, 28 February 2023 – A new important success is being celebrated at the Venicemarathon. The CMP Venice Night Trail, one month before the event, is already sold out due to the 5,000 bib numbers made available by the organization. Another good news is added: foreign athletes in the race represent more than 30% of the members, confirming the fact that running at night in a unique city in the world exerts a fascination every year with a strong appeal for runners from all over the world .

Registrations have therefore closed for the seventh edition of the night trail scheduled in Venice on the evening of Saturday 1 April, organized by Venicemarathon under the patronage of the Municipality of Venice, the Port System Authority of the Northern Adriatic Sea and promoted by CMP, the sports clothing from the Campagnolo group.

The start is scheduled at 9 pm from the Port of Venice, more precisely from the Cruise Terminal 123, where the CMP Village will be built with all the pre- and post-race services and where the athletes can easily leave their car a few meters from the starting line and I arrive.

The spectacular route of 16 kilometers and 51 bridges will enter the most typical areas of the city, touching points of great charm such as Piazza San Marco, the Accademia bridge and Punta della Dogana.

Enveloped by the silence of the night and accompanied by the sweet melody of the water, the participants will have to wear head torches that will light up the streets and squares, in a truly magical atmosphere.

In addition to the title sponsor CMP, from this year Venice will also be 'illuminated' by the prestigious Japanese car brand Honda, main partner & official car of the event.

In addition, important companies will run alongside the 7th CMP Venice Night Trail such as: Alì, Pro Action, San Benedetto, Palmisano, Bavaria, the Port System Authority of the Northern Adriatic Sea, Diabasi, 3BMeteo, Interparking and Lacomed Sport.
